Merry Christmas!
I feel like such an overachiever for getting Christmas cards done this year
and bonus points for getting them in the mail before Dec. 25!
I just wish everything in my life
was functioning so efficiently.
I’m months behind on my next writing project,
my bathrooms are in desperate need of a scrubbing,
my checkbook is dangerously close to being overdrawn,
I have no idea where the Christmas decorations are and
the number on my scale is at an all-time high.
Merry Christmas!
woo hoo!
With Eli (25) and Kym now married
and settled in Charleston, S.C.,
we don’t see them as much as we’d like,
but they are loving the south,
their dog Marvel,
and each other.
Jake (28) bought a house this summer
and brought Nala home to it in November.
No, you didn’t miss the wedding.
Nala is his dog.
He’s still an eligible bachelor
but not the least bit interested in my help to rectify that situation.
Dave is very excited about his gas.
Natural gas.
He ran a line to the outdoor grill this summer,
but he’s most excited about the ventless fireplace he installed in our living room.
Fire inside and out!
Hurrah!
I turned 60 in 2016!
It didn’t really sink in till
I realized I could now order off the senior menu.
Age verses pride.
I’m so grateful to be active and healthy,
and working in a ministry that I love.
About 50 times a year,
Dave and I hit the road so I can teach the Bible
and tell women about a Savior who loves them
so much he laid down his life for them,
then rose victoriously from the grave
to throw open the gates of heaven to anyone who would receive him.
My book, The Widow Wore Pink:
A True Story of Life After Loss and
the Transforming Power of a Loving God
is going places I can’t
and reviving hope in women’s hearts
for a better future.
Oh, Jesus.
Hearts are mended,
hope is established,
faith is strengthened.
It thrills me and humbles me to be part of what God is doing.
So, about you?
I’d love to hear what’s new or old
or needs cleaning at your house.
Praying you have a
Merry Christmas and a
Happy and Healthy New Year!

Merry Christmas Robyn to you and your lovely family. It was so great that I got to meet you and your husband, Dave, at the ladie’s retreat in April/May. You both made me feel like a special person. I was amazed how you both remembered my name! Love you, God Bless You. You are both a treasure and a blessing to me.

Enjoy connecting with you and reading about your family. Ours continues to grow #13 great grandson will arrive in Feb. My husband had mild heart attack in ER while there for other reason Nov 5th. 3 blockages with one stent. 11 days in hospital and now has a doctor for every part of his body. But God and prayers has led in every decision for treatment. Feeling much better today & plan attending our annual Christmas Eve Service Sat.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Marietta,
I’m agreeing with you in Jesus Name for a complete and quick recovery for your hubz.
Praising God for his goodness now and in advance of healing.

Merry Christmas! and Happy Hanukkah! So enjoy reading your email postings. I meet you at the Camp Calvary Ladies Retreat in Mackville Kentucky back in September. Such a blessing even though the rain & storms were louder than you for a short (praise God) while. Yeshua Jesus is so wonderful and I love Him so much! He had done great things for me, even before I knew Him. Couple weeks ago I had a hysterectomy and bladder repair and am doing wonderful! My doctor told me I missed biting the bullet, as my uterus was full of precancerous cells. I am so very grateful and thankful to God and His hand of healing upon my body. Also my bladder repair is working wonderfully! I don’t feel the urge constantly anymore. Not sure why I’m telling you all this but to give glory and honor to ‘The Great Physician’. Praise God! Pray your calendar will be full for 2017 as your testimony and sharing the Good News is so precious and right ON! God bless you Robyn. Loved the photos of your precious family. Happy New Year! For King and Kingdom!
So happy to hear a good report, especially this time of year. Thank you Marilyn.
I hope our paths cross again!

60, huh? I remember 60 (I think I do, anyway!) There are elves that clean house??? How come no one ever told me this before in all my 60+ years? Where do I find them?
I heard you speak a few years ago, but never got up there to thank you. Since you have continued to have an impact on me all this time, I figure it is about time I say thank you for sharing. May there never be a day you don’t feel God’s blessings.
Karen,
Thank you for your wit and encouragement. I hope our paths cross again soon!
